Bio
Brance Cornelius is a graduate of Murray State University (BA, Theatre) and currently serves as the Education Director for The Lexington Theatre Company. When not in the classroom he gladly spends his time either onstage or in the director’s chair, wearing his choreographer’s cap. Acting credits include “Bert Barry” (42nd Street), “Max” (The Sound of Music), “Mr. Cellophane” (Chicago) and “The Old Man” (A Christmas Story: The Musical) at The Lex, Papa Who in How the Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical (National Tour) and several years with Disney Cruise Line/Walt Disney World. As a Director and/or Choreographer (both at the professional and collegiate level) favorites include: Lucky Stiff, The Hound of the Baskervilles, Steel Magnolias, Bright Star & Fiddler on the Roof. Brance is a Kentucky Colonel, a proud member of Actor’s Equity, and his play Ghostlight (co-written with Kari Ringer) was named “Best Play” by Broadway World Orlando.
