HIGH SCHOOL FESTIVAL
Each year, students in our School Division look forward to the Annual High School Theatre Festival, a statewide competition celebrating the best theatrical work happening in our secondary schools. Drama programs from across the state first compete as part of our five regional festivals (Central, West, East, North, and Northwest) in order to earn a spot in the state competition held each fall. At each regional event and again at the state competition, awards for Outstanding Production, Outstanding Performer, and All-Star Cast members are given. In addition, students attending both the regional and state competitions can partake in our incredible Workshop Series. At the annual conference, students are invited to attend social mixers with other High School students from across the state and participate in our College/University Fair, meeting with representatives from College Theatre programs throughout Kentucky in order to audition for scholarships and receive feedback on their portfolios.
MIDDLE GRADES FESTIVAL
Our Middle Grades Division is one of the fastest growing constituencies of our organization. Next spring, we'll hold our 6th annual Middle Grades Festival, a one day event celebrating the phenomenal theatrical achievements of our youngest theatre artists. This event brings schools from all over the state together for a day of fun, workshops and activities (for both students and teachers) and, of course, performances adjudicated by professional theatre artists.
