Bio
Matthew Hammond is the education director for the Paramount Arts Center, a co-director of The Paramount Players in Ashland Kentucky, and the Choir Director at Lawrence County High School. Matthew is a 2021 quarterfinalist for the Best Music Educator GRAMMY award, and will graduate with his MA in Arts Administration from the University of Kentucky this summer. His undergraduate degree is from Morehead State University in Music Education with an emphasis in Vocal Performance. Matthew has been in over 70 musical productions, was Jinx in Forever Plaid; the 2018 KTA most outstanding community theatre performance, and Charlie Brown in the Paramount Players Production of You're a Good man Charlie Brown, the 2019 KTA most outstanding community theatre production.
Matthew is passionate about creating a healthy artistic/theatrical community for the commonwealth.
